empty road

After a 2,100 mile move from my Iowa hometown to Atlantic Canada last summer, I’ve settled into the Nova Scotia home and haven where the worlds my characters live,  love, and cope with conflict are created.

A major rewrite and a new novel

Both are in the new-to-me challenging genre of suspense.

The UnMatchables Case #1: Danger Noted
Newbie private investigators Eddie Emerson and Kelly Gillespie set up shop in a north shore Chicago suburb doing deep dives on demand into the backgrounds of their clients’ intimate partners.
Appearances are deceiving …
Their first easy case rapidly deteriorates into a sordid and dangerous game of one-night-stand players that leads to an international high society celebrity with more than his reputation to protect. Clues and cover-ups connect the dots between curious petty crimes, unsolved assaults, and threats that involve layers of law enforcement, from the Chicago police to Interpol.

Novel Under Development
Political intrigue set in Ottawa, Canada’s capital city

The process of rewriting one story while writing another is equal parts painstaking and exhilarating. I’m learning more about the creative craft of writing and having a whole lot of fun doing it.

In the meantime …

Thank you for buying my books, writing reviews, and visiting this website.

To quote a line from one of my favorite films “The Abyss”

Keep Pantyhose On

I can’t wait to share what I’ve learned and created with you.
