And so, it’s Autumn. Leaves lose summer green in the golden light sifting through branches that too soon will be bare.

We pull out and pack away shorts, sleeveless tops and linen dresses from drawers and closets to make room for what will keep us warm as the weather cools. We hold on, hesitate, and let the memories flow as we cling to the fabric of what we didn’t wear again this season and wonder why we can’t let go.

I’ve been a writer all of my life. I’ve met deadlines and made promises that I’ve kept without fail. I didn’t want to break that promise. But I had to let go. The word flow for “South Shore Summer” stopped when the story moved beyond a beach read.

I’m proud of my books. The romance of New Life in Love, the intrigue on Parliament Hill in the uniquely-Canadian thriller “Capital Strings” and the danger noted and revealed by PI business partners friends-to-lovers Eddie Emerson and Kelly Gillespie. I invite you to celebrate with me the five year anniversary launch of “Danger Noted: The UnMatchables Case #1” on October 28, 2020, the first novel published by 4Wurdz from our new home in Nova Scotia.https://www.amazon.com/Danger-Noted-UnMatchables-Case-1-ebook/dp/B08M5TQ994?tag=lft01-20

I’m not sure what characters and stories will coalesce in my creative mind and find their way on to the page in the New Year. But I’m filling pages with notes. What comes next will surprise and delight us all.

I promise.
