I’ve been so consumed with what comes next in my first romance genre trilogy that I almost forgot where the story started. On Sunday, I pushed back the task of touching up “Heartland” and picked up “Reservations” to get ready for another first. This Saturday afternoon, I’ll sign copies and read the words that lifted Darien and Ali from my imagination to Kindle and 309 pages bound in paperback. We’ll sample the love-at-first-sight bruschetta Chef Darien served Ali on page 8. I’m not sure who or how many will drop in between 1 and 3 at the Midwest Writing Center in my Davenport, Iowa, hometown.
